STAFF BIOS
Dr. Watanabe graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a Bachelors of Arts in Biology, then completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. She has worked over 20 years in general, family, and cosmetic dentistry. She helped to start the new field of Spa Dentistry lecturing at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, Loma Linda School of Dentistry, California Dental Association and American Dental Association Annual Meeting and the Medical Spa Expo and Conference in New York and Los Angeles. She has served as a board member of the Day Spa Association, The Medical Spa Association, and helped to create the first International Dental Spa Association. As the founder of The International Dental Spa Association, it led her to help create Korea and Asia’s first Dental Spa. She has been a member of the Holistic Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Spa Association, the Santa Monica and Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce and in the Pacific Palisades Optimist Club.
Heather Mills graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from the University of Oregon. She graduated from the East West College for the Healing Arts in massage therapy. She has certification from NCBTMB National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Body Work and AMTA American Massage Therapy Association. She has worked at Five Star Hotel Spas, for chiropractors and acupuncturists.
Crystal Byambajar graduated from the Marinello Beauty School in Los Angeles as an Esthetician. She has a doctor degree from Ulaanbator Medical School in Mongolia and studied anesthesiology. With her medical background, she is very knowledgeable in skincare and products. She has also worked for Sephora.
Joleen Rizzo is our Emmy Award Wining Makeup Aritist. She has worked in film, television, commerials, video and print work. Television credits include The King of Queeens, Rosie O’Donnell Show, Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with David Letterman, Rosanne, Family Feud, Wheel of Fortune and Days of Our Lives. She has been part of the Dental Spa team for over 15 years and helped us to create the first Dental Spa “DS Face & Body” Skincare & Makeup Line.
Azita Razi graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelors of Arts in Biology and Kinesiology. Then she completed her Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene at West Los Angeles College. She has been a dental hygienist for 30 years and has worked extensively with periodontists in Beverly Hills.
Debbie Lusk completed her medical assisting certification from Bryman College in West Los Angeles. She worked as a medical assistant for physicians offices. She has over 25 years of work as a dental patient coordinator in Pacific Palisades. With her experience, she helps our Dental Spa patients with their questions and inquiries.
Amanda Merck is a dedicated massage therapist with other 5 years of experience in the field. She obtained her certification from I.P.S.B at Life Energy Institute in 2018 and is licensed by the California Massage Therapy Council in the State of California. She specializes in therapeutic massage techniques, including Aromatherapy, Craniosacral, Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Energy based practices. Her passion is in helping others achieve optimal wellness using her keen understanding of the mind-body connection. With her warm and compassionate demeanor, Amanda creates a comfortable and rejuvenating experience here at the Dental Spa.
Shana Bakhshayandeh graduated from Santa Monica College with an Associate of Arts Degree. She then graduated from West Los Angeles College with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She has worked in the dental field since 2015 in Beverly Hills and joins our team now as a Dental Hygienist. Her proficiencies include Oral and Dental Assessment, Periodontal Therapy, and Laser Certification.
